from VfD:

Another apparently lost/orphaned VfD nom, as the tag was added July 25, but it doesn't seem to have ever been placed on the main VfD page, and doesn't have a voting page. Procedural/abstain--seems to have some books published, but the article doesn't mention that. Niteowlneils 23:12, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)

  • Weak Keep. The page as it stands looks like self-promotion, but I think he might be notable enough to have an article. David Johnson 23:43, 24 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep. About as notable as Avinash Kak but his field of study is not as sexy.Dr Zen 01:07, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Absolutely keep. Co-author with Ellis Horowitz of Fundamentals of Data Structures and later Fundamentals of Computer Algorithms, standard Computer Science textbooks in the 1970s and early 1980s. -- Jmabel | Talk 08:10, Nov 25, 2004 (UTC)
  • Keep; sufficient notability established. Samaritan 10:55, 25 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak delete. Writing a college textbook doesn't make you notable, even if you are a pioneer in your field or a CS department chairman. --Idont Havaname 00:50, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
  • Weak keep, this article could use some expansion. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 04:32, 27 Nov 2004 (UTC)
