Find a grave is not a reliable source and should not be used.
Moved 'find a grave' source to External Links section. Alanna the Brave (talk) 12:42, 29 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
The information about her father's wealth has no source (even with Find a grave)
I can't access the source currently used to view what it already verifies (or not), but I've removed the descriptor "wealthy". Alanna the Brave (talk) 01:00, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
The census information about her being listed as a daughter strikes me as borderline, and I think on the wrong side, of WP:OR
Found some newspaper articles calling Sallie Sarah's adopted daughter. Knope7 (talk) 01:42, 31 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
I'm unclear what source is supporting even bringing in a governess when Sallie was older for a short period
I found no source, so I removed the bit about the governess. Knope7 (talk) 18:46, 21 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Unclear what timeframe in Sallie's life is being referred to by for over the next 30 years
Source needed for The newlyweds moved in with Sarah until after the birth of their child Saidee. Sarah greatly adored the little girl, whom she saw as her granddaughter.
The next sentence is a fragment with weird citation placement.
Fragment removed Knope7 (talk) 21:43, 31 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
It seems that the whole stuff with the papers might better belong in the legacy section?
I'm not convinced this move would make sense, since the presidential papers were part of Sallie's preservation work during her lifetime, NOT a part of her legacy after her death. I'll leave this info where it is for now. Alanna the Brave (talk) 01:11, 1 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Is there any more good sourcing about her life? Where did she live with her husband after Sarah died? Were they well off or poor?
I added that she lived in Nashville as of 1922. Knope7 (talk) 02:09, 14 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
I haven't managed to locate any other info about her life. Barkeep49, I think we've addressed (or tried to address) everything in your initial GA review at this point. What do you think? Does anything else need editing, or has the article been improved enough for GA status? I'd say it's much stronger than it was before. Alanna the Brave (talk) 13:10, 23 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Images are appropriately done. No apparent issues with COPYVIO.
I am happy to review this. Can the IP editor who nominated, or another interested editor, confirm they would like to go through the GA review process? Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 19:38, 24 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
It looks to me like the IP address has been blocked. I can try my best to go through the review process. Knope7 (talk) 02:27, 27 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Knope7 Great. I will get to the review in the next day or two. I'm happy to try and help you through the process. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 02:43, 27 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Knope7 Article's in pretty good shape overall. See comments above. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 22:40, 27 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Knope7 and Barkeep49 -- we appear to have a problem. An IP user has made a number of sudden edits and reversions to Sarah Polk Fall today (including removing the lead section), and I'm not sure how to respond. Is there a simple way to revert? Alanna the Brave (talk) 22:01, 2 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Alanna the Brave: The IP has now been check user blocked and your edits restored. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 14:26, 8 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
Thanks Barkeep49! Knope7 -- want to have one last run at this article? I think it's almost ready. I'm a bit swamped with work this week, but I should be able to find a little time for editing. Alanna the Brave (talk) 00:10, 9 April 2019 (UTC)Reply
