Sandwell and Dudley railway stationSandwell & Dudley railway station – Station is named Sandwell & Dudley, not Sandwell and Dudley. While as often is the case, there is a degree of interchangeability in sources, all official organisations use the ampersand; National Rail, both operators that serve it, Avanti West Coast and West Midlands Railway, their predecessors Virgin Trains and London Midland, and Transport for West Midlands That is reinforced by the station signs that all use the ampersand.

Convention is to use the ampersand if this is reflected in the station signs, hence we have Elephant & Castle, Hayes & Harlington, Portsmouth & Southsea etc. Relevant policy is MOS:&. Rossonwy (talk) 05:34, 30 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Support per nom. Proposed name complies with the MOS and is consistent with similarly-named UK railway stations. Tevildo (talk) 14:36, 30 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
