Article name edit

As noted by Kisobushi, for Japanese people born post-1868 we normally have the article title written in the first name-family name order. However, if the English references cited in the article all use the name "Kubo Sakae", then I think that would provide an exception to the general rule. So before moving this article to the title Sakae Kubo, I was hoping someone with access to the English sources could confirm which name order they use. Kubo Sakae edit

Kubo Sakae was born in Sapporo to a very wealthy family. His father Kubo Heitaro’s business manufactured and exported construction material suitable for western architecture I.e stone, brick, and steel, at a time when Tokyo and other urban centers were rapidly westernizing on their developments. His interests extended to Banking, Media and Agriculture and established and chaired the Hokkaido Chamber of Commerce, quickly following in the industrialization footsteps of Tokyo.

His four sons, aside from the eldest who inherited the empire, Sakae became an epic playwright, Mamoru a well known painter artist and headmaster of the Tokyo Art University, and Makoto, an early Olympian competing in three categories of the winter games.

From an early age, Sakae was put in an environment where he observed the rapidly changing, or westernizing world of Meiji to Taisho Japan which furnished his mindset to sprout his later day works, which should be given more study and evaluation upon discussing the importance of the set of ideals Sakae projected and propelled. 2001:F70:3420:2700:F4F2:9A87:8884:ED27 (talk) 07:51, 12 February 2022 (UTC)Reply
