Capitalization of "As" in Title

edit

See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NC#Album_titles_and_band_names for reasoning behind capitalization of "As" in the title. Stephen Hoffman 19:59, 18 June 2008 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(music)#Bands.2C_albums_and_songs - an is not capitalised. SilkTork ✔Tea time 21:45, 6 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
Well, the cover and label don't help, as everything is the n upper case, even the 'N'. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:56, 6 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Electricity and MAYBE Abba Zaba

edit

Electricity is covered in a multitude of reviews and independent resources and could definitely have its own article. As for Abba Zaba I'm not quite sure yet, but I think it may be reasonable for it to have one as well. Help finding more resources for Abba Zaba would be appreciated, but I'm good with resources for Electricity. Mrmoustache14 (talk) 23:39, 19 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Garage rock?!

edit

You have to be fucking kidding. Yes, I see there's a citation—I'd call that citation abuse. Curly Turkey ¡gobble! 04:33, 8 July 2015 (UTC)Reply

Weren't the missing tracks on the PYE reissue - Electricity and Autumn's Child?

Release date

edit

The release date in the infobox has been given as "September 1967" since this article was created, over 11 years ago. It's now been changed to "June 1967", without any source or edit summary explanation, by an anonymous ip editor. Date of recording has been similarly changed from "April 1967" to "Spring 1967". Are there any sources for dates of recording and release? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:09, 31 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Removing Unsourced and Inaccurate Sentence

edit

"It hints at many of the features — such as odd time signatures ("Abba Zaba," "Dropout Boogie")"

This is not in any of the sourced material, probably because it's clearly false. 203.63.52.218 (talk) 14:27, 30 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Legacy

edit

Why is the only thing in the Legacy section about a song being used in a commercial? It's a joke, right? If that's all that anyone can think of to put there, I would just delete it entirely. 2600:1700:BC10:ADC0:A96A:44B8:A9FA:3963 (talk) 08:16, 6 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

I just came here to say the same thing. I'm sure it's hard to pin down this album's legacy in words, but everyone who has heard it knows that its legacy is deeper and wider than a stupid car commercial. I swear that section is a pointed insult at Beefheart. 2600:1700:BC10:ADC0:98F2:B93B:155:F711 (talk) 21:58, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
I'll have you know that the Hyundai ZigZag is an extremely safe little car. And there'll soon be a fully electric version. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:22, 24 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
