I just started this page it is about a company in my home town ... i created this page not 5 minutes ago and it's already marked for speedy deletion ? M-BMor 07:49, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ok done with the stub now. But more to come. Just need some time to put it together. Maybe copying and pasting the corporate mission statement was not such a great idea to begin with. This is not an ad. I don't know what else to say. M-BMor 08:15, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Added sufficient information about the company. Not sure what else to include this seems to cover major aspects of what they do and who they are. The references may need some clean up. M-BMor 03:28, 23 April 2007 (UT

I would like to add to this page my own interested and questions regarding healthcare plans. Why is that a simple answers of healthcare plans can be defined and understanda108.18.71.82 (talk) 21:35, 5 April 2015 (UTC)ble for allcynthia.[1]Reply

Reassesment and Peer Review edit

Since posting the peer review tag I've gotten feed back that citations need to be intext. Done.

Also added a couple pictures one of my FSA Card with info edited out and the other of the building on Shelbyville Rd (from web cropped and downsized). No luck on a good shot of their HQ on Blugrass PRKWY. In short I think it's at least moved to a B.

Would the fact they have a national presence, employ over 1000 locally, and manage ALL the Federal Government Employees Flex-accounts deem this a MID Importance at least. I know they are not a high importance but maybe a mid vs low? Ok Thanks. M-BMor 02:05, 16 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

The article is still too much structured as a brochure, and I see quite a lot of formatting and grammar problems. Still a 'Start'. Low importance doesn't mean nonexistent importance. It's a mid-sized company in Louisville, but its topical relevance to Louisville is minor. I suppose if one was an employee of this company, they would see it differently. Stevie is the man! • Topical relevance makes since. Thanks. Fixed a couple spelling errors working on making it flow a bit smoother.M-BMor 20:34, 24 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

There's still a lot of info in this article that makes it read like a corporate marketing brochure rather than an encyclopedia article. Further, I thought this company sprang at least partially from Prudential Service Bureau, but there's no mention of this. History cannot be hidden. Stevie is the man! • I don't know about hiding history? But I'll look into that. M-BMor 19:17, 12 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • I found a rather detailed reference cleaned it up and added the info about the Prudential Bit. Thanks! M-BMor 13:49, 14 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reassesment and Peer Review edit

This article has been heavily revised. Many references have been removed, neutral language replaced with biased phrasing like "National Leader". Sound like someone from the company got ahold of it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Reviewer872 (talkcontribs) 19:56, 3 August 2011 (UTC) Major changes by: SHPS HUMAN RESOURCES SOLUTIONS, INC. This does read like a marketing department: "In 2007, SHPS introduced its award-winning health risk engine to help employers strategically manage the clinical risk in their employee population. Also, in 2007, SHPS' Landacorp division released its CareRadius product suite, which simplifies complex medical management processes and enables health plans to simplify work flow, improve health outcomes and lower costs. In 2008, SHPS launched its next-generation wellness solution, an internally developed wellness program delivered on the same platform as its other health management solutions. In that same year, SHPS also launched Carewise Health®, a person-centric suite of integrated services designed to improve individual health and help companies optimize their healthcare spending and benefits delivery." What happened to the the refrences to government contractsor financials and founding? Can an article be completely devoid of refrences other than a corporate website? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.3.100.171 (talk) 02:33, 4 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

  • Thank you for taking the time to review. You are correct I do work for the company and made many updates to the content to help remove some of the inaccuracies as well as add additional info to the company products and services. I used the website as the main source of info and tried to pull in additional content or keep what was applicable. I can definitely work on toning it down so it is more nuetral. thanks! And if you have additional suggestions on how to make it more nuetral please keep the ideas coming. (198.246.177.22 (talk) 21:11, 19 August 2011 (UTC))Reply
    • I just noticed this whole thread. I started the article about 4 years ago? If you need anything let me know. Also if you are using a corporate IP adress that can cause some issues. I'd create your own log-in so you can own it. When it comes to refrences Try to resource the old articles you'll gain some traction there. Neutrality is important. The only way to really ensure that is with cited 3rd party source material. Remember no original research. — Preceding unsigned comment added by M-BMor (talkcontribs) 19:48, 22 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
    • Thanks - I have started with the History section - added more references and tried to 'tone down' the language. thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.246.177.22 (talk) 17:35, 7 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Confusing article edit

What happened to SHPS? Does it no longer exist? Did it split into two companies? This all needs to be clarified a lot better. Stevie is the man! TalkWork 05:28, 13 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Added a couple pics and moved citations to intext. Would like a reassesment. After adding a lot of content peer-reviewing it and flushing it out. Going with B. M-BMor 20:49, 23 May 2007 (UTC)Reply
