Quotes
edit"Rose’s teenage years are somewhat of a mystery. It was stated that she was valedictorian in her high school graduation (fourth out of nineteen), she attended St. Paul Business School, Rockport Community College, and St. Gustaf University (where she studied Latin) but also that she had never graduated from high school (due to a case of mono)."
When Dorothy says, "I didn't know you studied Latin" in the episode "Sophia's Wedding, Part I," Rose does seem to believe she studied Latin at St. Gustav University. However, her response to Dorothy in "Sophia's Wedding, Part I" is in pig Latin instead: "First in my class, Orothy Day."
Children
editRose Nylund has 4 children, and Charlie Jr. was not one of her children. Charlie, is Kirsten's daughter, and Rose's granddaughter.
I will change this.--Irshgrl500 13:55, 9 October 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Irshgrl500 (talk • contribs)
Rose does mention Charlie Jr. as one of her children. Kirsten's daughter is also Charley, spelled differently, as noted in the program's on-air credits. credits at 3:20 The spelling of Rose's daughter's name should be "Bridget" as the on-air credits attest. credits at 5:57 Subtitles/captions are good when no other sources are available, but tend to be unreliable.
I am simply posting these notes here...I am not changing them on the main page as discussion on these items seems to be bordering on heated. Jared82ca (talk) 12:54, 9 April 2010 (UTC)Jared82ca (talk) 12:58, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Is it Kirsten or Kiersten? Both are used in the same sentence! I can't remember, myself. 188.29.164.253 (talk) 14:44, 13 May 2015 (UTC)
