Accurate
editI beleive that this article is the only accurate information about the case of Rosalia Lombardo on the net. Well, the most accurate other than that of the Doctor that injected this liquid into the childs body. I think that todays science could explain it and that her body be tested for the injection.

Wording
edit"It is quite obvious today she is deceased due to the discoloration that has become more pronounced in the years following her preservation."
This sentence doesn't make sense, it makes it sound like the child died of discoloration of the skin. Perhaps remove it altogether?

Can someone shorten the picture?
editOr make it smaller? It's sort of surprising.. 98.14.15.12 (talk) 15:58, 12 February 2009 (UTC)
Amazing
editRosalia is definitely one of the world's most perfect mummies. I wish we knew much more about Alfredo Salafia. I read that Dr. Dario Piombino-Mascali (the young scientist who found Salafia's family) has been researching Salafia's work for over three years. I hope we see more of this fascinating subject in the news! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.229.180.76 (talk) 18:25, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
I wish we could get more info on Dr. Alfredo Salafia. This subject is so fascinating! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.115.1.69 (talk) 17:52, 22 January 2010 (UTC)
I dont believe anyone could perform tests on the body to find out anything...once the seal on the glass coffin is broken, I believe that her body would just disenegrate...u may have the answers as to what was used, but the body would fall apart and no longer be worth viewing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.134.163.113 (talk) 10:32, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- The formula has been discovered that was used too embalm her.she would not disentegrate as the process used hardened the body.still further care is being used too make sure the body is kept in the present condition.National Geographic has a great article on the discovery of the formula by a scientist who found the embalmers family. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.63.105.182 (talk) 16:42, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

In the text it says that she was born in 1920 and died in 1922, December 6. But in the picture it says in italian....that she was born in 1918 and died in 1920. |
