698 goals and 1022 matches does not seem likely..... and his stats on the right does not compute with it either. (sorry dont know how to correct myself)

It includes non-official games, that's way he played so many games and scored all those goals. The table on the right does not include friendlies, cup games and Campeoanto Carioca games. --Carioca (talk) 20:03, 14 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
