double negative edit

I don't hardly think it needs to say it's "chocolate covered in chocolate" in the opening paragraph. Can someone fix this please? BLUSTERYBLOWER DA REAL OG|Bluster at me, Blower

  • The candy contains chocolate-flavored caramel which is itself covered in chocolate. Please do not change again without first gaining consensus to do so here on the talk page. --Hobbes Goodyear (talk) 11:56, 10 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Karamel Kontroversy edit

It's not caramel. For as long as I can remember, it's toffee in dark chocolate. I used to eat them when I was young and lost quite a few baby teeth because of them. And now I just found somewhere that sells them, so I bought a packet and it still toffee. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 87.74.70.124 (talkcontribs) .

Storck advertises it as caramel, and I believe that's what it tastes like (to me). —BorgHunter (talk) 13:46, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Aren't they sold in bars also? Where I buy them from, here in the UK, they sell 4 or 5 pieces, unwrapped, in a bar.

Quote from website...it is caramel, not toffee edit

On the company's (August Storck KG) website, it describe Risen as a:

"Chewy chocolate caramel, covered in indulgently rich European chocolate. RIESEN lasts and lasts. So if you need a long, relaxing moment, unwrap a delicious, long lasting RIESEN." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Melissa Dilo (talkcontribs) 18:41, 5 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Peanut in 2001? edit

I am certain (unless this is some Mandela Effect weirdness) that I remember having peanut Riesen in Philadelphia back in the late 80's early 90's. I remember because I was about to go to collage and was making some extra money working for a friend of the family and they had a bowl of regular and a bowl of peanut on a side table in the house. Maybe this is like Taco Bell's breakfast menu. It existed in the early to mid 90's in the Midwest but not elsewhere then went away. Not a lot of people remember it and most are only familiar with the recent version. 75.179.163.134 (talk) 01:52, 21 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
