Le Rhénus Sport est le palais des sports de la ville de Strasbourg, réalisé par le maire Fabienne Keller et le maire délégué, président de la Communauté Urbaine, Robert Grossmann, en 2002. Après de décennies d'attente d'un tel équipement à Strasbourg, capitale européenen, le sport au plus hauts niveaux y a à nouveau droit de cité. De grandes manifestations sportives ont eu lieu au Rhénus Sport: tournoi international de basket autour l'équipe de France, Eurotournoi de Hand Ball,coupe Davis de tennis et le club de Basket de Strasbourg, la SIG y a élu domicile de manière permanente. Sa capacité en spectateur est au maximum et selon les disciplines, de 6000 places assises
