Review, suggestions

edit

Hello, Karengmc. Your contributions here have been excellent, on the whole. I have a few suggestions that I think would help readers track the information you have presented:

  1. First, the lead should be a general synopsis of the entire article, and statements in the lead do not usually require citations because they are supported by text with citations in the main part of the article.
  2. The history section is thorough, but not exactly chronological. Perhaps discussing the private schools first would give more context tot China's very long history of education.
  3. Citations to books need to have page references, and should be in a form consistent with the rest of the article. You can use the "Cite" button in the visual editor to construct book citations manually-- see WP:CITEHOW for an overview. To add page numbers, use the "Insert" button to add the RP template (Reference page template). Let me know if you need help with that technical bit. Good work! One more small error: at the end of the 3rd paragraph under "Finances", there is a link to "industries", which is a disambiguation (DAB) page. Check the DAB page for a more precise link to the type of industries being referred to. Grand'mere Eugene (talk) 19:41, 2 June 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hi! Thanks for editing and letting me know - I'll see if there is still anything else that needs fixing.Karengmc (talk) 14:35, 15 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
