I was thinking about this, but in Russian textbooks the word is always plural and in English the usage of this word is negligible, so in my opinion it makes no sense to speak of preferable usage. By the way, please add Ukrainian spelling.

By the way, I think I will slow down editing this article; I wasted a huge amount of time on this very visible but poorly described dance move. If you happen to have (no-bullshit) Ukrainian sources, you are welcome to add. They may probably be found in professional descriptions of dances Hopak, Kozak, etc. Even a refence that prisiadki are used in so-and-so Ukrainian dance would be great. - Altenmann >talk 21:16, 8 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
