Prashanth Neel he might be technically from telugu region but his mother is tongue is kannada, It's difficult to find he is telugu or Kannadiga. Check the attachment review & change personal life part.

The article already mentions that Neel identifies himself as Kannadiga, so that should settle the issue. Updated the article based on the above citiation identifying Neel's mother's hometown. Now there's a possibility of Neel being Telugu from his father's side and Kannada from his mother side. However, I couldn't find any sources that explicitly states this, therefore can't be added per WP:NOR. Nonetheless, I attributed the claims, and the prose now reads "While sources report that Neel hails from Telugu family, Neel identifies himself as a Kannadiga.".
