Accuracy edit

I'm not sure myself, but a cursory search brought to my attention the possible inaccuracies of the Wiki page. According to this: [1] the pledge is slightly different--as I do not know for sure, I just wanted to post this here and see if anyone else can confirm or deny to help keep this accurate. Thanks for any help! DietFoodstamp (talk) 05:26, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

If the English translation is accurate, then the title of the page is not. The text gives a pledge to the country; the title claims a pledge to a flag. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.250.255.199 (talk) 01:02, 5 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Romanization? edit

Can someone please add a line with the Romanization, as well? Thank you. AdderUser (talk) 15:11, 21 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Semantic question edit

Would not the language of the former pledge be better described as "racialist" than "racist"? 72.105.3.187 (talk) 00:53, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Strictly speaking they basically mean the same thing, but agree that the latter carries some extra baggage/connotations these days. – Illegitimate Barrister (talkcontribs), 00:19, 27 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
