Is it true that Vehicle insurance companies do not cover the accidents in Place de l'Étoile?--88.19.122.209 17:25, 8 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

This used to be common, but has been replaced with automatic assumption of equal blame (like-for-like). I'll update the article and source my info. Andrew Oakley (talk) 14:51, 22 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

If it used to be true, than it does not qualify as an "urban myth", as indicated by the current text.

Also, the text claims that the lack of insurance protection is an "urban myth". But then goes on to say that it in fact is true, since insurance companies do not offer normal traffic protection, only "knock-for-knock" insurance. Which means - according to that article - that no matter how *you* drive, you will pay if you are part of an accident, at the Place Charles de Gaulle. Very contradictory, something cannot be urban myth and in *any way* true at the same time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.95.37.251 (talk) 21:55, 2 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

The title under the photo "Place Charles de Gaulle in 1939" is NONSENSE

edit

Re.: Place Charles de Gaulle #History / left side / second photo:
Until 1970 this place was called "Place de l'Étoile".
But the title under the photo reads: "Place Charles de Gaulle in 1939".
This is a FALSIFICATION / MIS-representation of the history, of historical facts.
This title is historical nonsense!
