- Article is new enough, long enough and written in a suitably encyclopedic way with copious inline references. The text is original. This is a BLP about a sometimes controversial figure but the article is carefully worded. QPQ done. I don't like ALT1 because future predictions can be upset ("life comes at you fast") but the first hook is a definite fact, interesting, and cited appropriately in the article. I worry that people reading quickly might get the impression the Co-operative Group employs people who are in modern slavery, rather than people who have escaped it. It would be a wrong reading, but I want to be certain that this misunderstanding won't happen. Could we have a variation of the hook that refers to "former victims" or "escapees"? - ALT2: ... that Pippa Wicks, the deputy chief executive officer of The Co-operative Group, has supported the company's initiative to employ people who have escaped modern slavery?
- MartinPoulter Is ALT2 clearer? Joseph2302 (talk) 10:54, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
- That's absolutely ideal. Great work @Joseph2302 and Edwardx: on creating this article. MartinPoulter (talk) 14:37, 22 July 2020 (UTC)
