Financial enquiries 2023 edit

It's hard to know if there's a routine enquiry going on, or something more serious.... https://www.irishtimes.com/ireland/social-affairs/2023/09/26/regulator-appoints-inspectors-to-investigate-peter-mcverry-trust/ The Approved Housing Bodies Regulatory Authority (AHBRA), which regulates not-for-profit housing bodies, has this week opened an investigation into the charity. Concerns about the future solvency of the charity have been discussed at senior levels in recent days, according to one source with knowledge of the crisis talks. This July the homelessness charity had informed the Department of Housing that it was facing serious cash flow pressures. On foot of the concerns auditors PwC were appointed to conduct a financial and governance review of the trust.2001:8A0:7FF2:E00:6CCE:3A56:36D2:EDA1 (talk) 14:13, 27 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
