Infobox image

edit

The article says Despite of its close association with the Pakistan Navy, the Pakistan Marines shares the same military ranks and military codes as of the Pakistan Army. So the infobox image show an officer described as Captain Uzair Khalid which appears to be a naval rank. More confusion the rank braid appears to be that of a Lieutenant. The result of the move request was: page moved. Two notes however: Firstly, the appeal to official names is not all that relevant in terms of article naming policy. Secondly, there have been many cut-and-paste move attempts, both to this talk page and the article. The article seems OK, but I've moved the target talk page to Talk:Pakistan Marines/Archive 1 just to be sure we don't lose anything significant, particularly from its history. Possibly unnecessary but harmless. Andrewa (talk) 09:57, 19 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

I just removed[1] some content because it appeared to have copied a globalsecurity.org page. 39.33.116.124 (talk) 04:47, 30 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

100,000? There would be more marines than the entire navy, on 11 Mar 2019, I reduced to 10,000, a much more believable number. Although, with the proliferation of Pakistani security forces 100,000 could be possible.--Degen Earthfast (talk) 17:54, 15 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
