I've declined the speedy deletion request related to recreation of the article after AfD. The deletion discussion indicated that the reason for deletion was that this player has not yet played a game in a fully-professional league. According to reliable sources, he is now signed with a team playing in the Indian Super League, described by Wikipedia as a professional league, so that rationale is no longer valid. However, the team's season does not start for another month, so by one interpretation he has not technically "played" with the team I suppose. I personally believe that deleting the article on this technicality only for it to be recreated a month from now is throwing out the baby with the bathwater, but if some other editors insist I will consider moving it to draft-space in the meantime. Delete is the correct call, per TOOSOON/CRYSTAL. But having reached this stage, userfying would do no harm, nor would draftifying.
