editAre there any Ospreys in Swansea, Wales? 86.160.23.94 (talk) 20:07, 13 June 2009 (UTC)
- They breed in Porthmadog, but may be seen in southern Wales and England on migration jimfbleak (talk) 05:37, 14 June 2009 (UTC)
Foulshaw Moss
editThe Simon Reeve TV series on The Lakes showed ospreys at Foulshaw Moss. That location is not yet mentioned here. Mdrb55 (talk) 16:51, 22 November 2021 (UTC)
- I have added information for the Lake District population of 6 nests - I tried to do this last year but could not find an appropriate ref, which I have now found. I think recording these by region is enough detail - noting each nest site would be impractical to maintain. Ancienterracht (talk) 12:16, 15 May 2022 (UTC)
Level of Detail
editI have separated the recolonisation of England and Wales into two sections for ease of reading. As the number of nests in the public domain grows, I think it becomes impractical to list them all; I have tried to list when populations were established in different areas, and an idea of how each of the longer established areas has developed. Any comments/suggestions welcome. ThanksAncienterracht (talk) 15:27, 2 September 2022 (UTC)
