It's seems rather irresponsible to fail to mention that New York Times reported the Nazi version as fact in the immediate aftermath, initially reporting that Poland attacked Germany. 2607:FEA8:AA03:9600:A192:4205:A7A5:1E25 (talk) 00:31, 18 December 2023 (UTC)
