Unsportsmanlike conduct, disrespect for fellow players edit

Lest you think I have some personal bias against Kucherov, let me assure you that I don't. I acknowledge unreservedly that he's an incredibly skilled and intrepid hockey player. Yet, those facts shouldn't preclude us from acknowledging his tantrum at the microphone at the post-game 5 press conference in the SCF last year, in which he repeatedly swore (said "fuck" five times, "bullshit" four times), denigrated the winner of the Vezina Trophy ("whatever the guy in Vegas," meaning Marc-Andre Fleury) and verbally assailed the Montreal fans, saying "But the fans in Montreal acted like they won the Stanley Cup last game. Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? Their final was last series," who were justifiably exuberant that their team wasn't swept in the Game 4 (as the fans of any such team, Kucherov's included, would be). It was a truly cringeworthy performance, as there is something to be said for sportsmanship, of which Kucherov may have, but which he certainly didn't demonstrate there. It's definitely a notable moment, because such infantile post-Championship-win podium speeches are rare. Here's the transcript of the press conference: https://www.ginohard.com/full-transcript-of-nikita-kucherov-stanley-cup-press-conference/.OrdinaryAverageTy (talk) 13:28, 15 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

I have nothing against its inclusion in the article; I would just avoid being POV about it. Keep it NPOV.I,SphericalEarther (talk) 17:57, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
Well thanks for the input, but I believe my insertions into the article are NPOV and I had aimed for that to begin with.OrdinaryAverageTy (talk) 18:08, 16 October 2021 (UTC)Reply
