Articles Yam festival and New Yam Festival of the Igbo merge? edit

Basically the article Yam festival could be deleted because all the information in that article and more are to be found in the article New Yam Festival of the Igbo. I am proposing a merger (of names) because the name "Yam Festival" is more appropriate than "New Yam Festival of the Igbos", since both articles are agreed on the fact that not only the Igbo perform this festival. The ceremony is also known from Ghana. I propose a deletion of the article "Yam festival" and a change of name of this article from "New yam festival of the Igbo" to "New Yam festival".Ochiwar (talk) 20:07, 15 March 2013 (UTC)Reply
