Single-purpose account
editThe article is a very poorly sourced WP:ADVERT from a terrible WP:SPA. Qworty (talk) 04:18, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
- Ms. Mercado is clearly a significant poet, and merits a full, properly sourced article. But massive copyright violations (assuming it's not a Wiki mirror site, the 'career' text is the same here: [1]) and conflict of interest edits aren't going to make it. 99.12.242.7 (talk) 04:37, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
- Since the articles' creation in October 2010 it has never been properly sourced; user Solomonmercado's claim that it's a work in progress doesn't justify removing maintenance templates, especially given that after several hundred edits the article has not met encyclopedic guidelines. 99.12.242.7 (talk) 05:26, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

Unclear about extensive edits
editI am not clear why User:Qworty has removed all subheadings for this article, the writer's box, photo, and lists of publications. Are these edits appropriate and required? The article no longer looks or reads like most Wikipedia articles on authors.--Lawrlafo (talk) 18:56, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- Hi. Thanks for your question. As you know, unsourced material can be removed at any time, and everything in an article must be WP:V and have WP:RS. This is policy. As for the state of other articles--that is irrelevant as WP:OSE and WP:OTHERSTUFF. Thanks again.Qworty (talk) 19:21, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
- I reviewed the situation and in my opinion there is no justification for User:Qworty actions, even though the article could use some more inline citations. The removal of unsourced content maybe understandable, however there is no reason for the removal of the infobox and the formatting of sections. User:Qworty, once I revert the article to it's original format, you may remove any unsourced material as long as you justify your actions. Tony the Marine (talk) 19:27, 21 April 2013 (UTC)
Cleaning up links/sources
editI cleaned up and edited out as many links (sources) as were not functional. MilaUna (talk) 1:52, 23 April 2013 (UTC)
