Testing edit

The obvious question that comes to mind when reading about testing is how the aircraft was tested when it was built without a landing gear. I assume that a variant with a landing gear was tested repeatedly, though this changes the weight of the aircraft a lot and affects performance and the evaluation ... anyway, could a knowledgeable editor add an answer to the article? It did have an undercarriage - as can be seen from the photos, which was jettisonable for combat use.Nigel Ish (talk) 10:55, 17 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
