Adib’s election as PM - vote count edit

The lead and the citation source say he got 90 of 120 votes, with 14 going to Nawaf Salam, 3 to others and 13 no shows. But there are 128 seats in Lebanon’s parliament. Could someone explain the difference of 8 here? Thank you! 314WPlay (talk) 18:19, 1 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@314WPlay: At the time, 8 MPs resigned an they have not been replaced. --Maudslayer (talk) 05:59, 25 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

Misdate: Adib didn't take office on August 31 edit

On that day he was merely designated by president Aoun. As of September 8, Hassan Diab, resigned on August 10, remains the prime minister of Lebanon in acting capacity. --Zarateman (talk) 19:01, 8 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
