Considering this article is marked for cleanup... to most people in the UK and Ireland, Mrs. Mills means the completely fake agony aunt in the Style section of the Sunday Times, not a dead pianist... --Kiand 02:42, 31 October 2005 (UTC)

To those of a certain age in the UK Mrs Mills the pianist is the real deal. Her albums were pride of place in Woolworths or anywhere else that specialised in the MFP or Pickwick label and the woman herself was frequently seen on TV. She even guested one week on Morcambe & Wise.

Mrs Mills wasn't Charles Hawtrey's mother. She was born in 1918, Charles Hawtrey in 1914.--Stevouk 11:00, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

Removal of text explaination

I have removed the section on her records being played on the Rufl 8CCC-FM show added by User:Oldrecordswithrufl as I can't see how it is notable. Also, given the username I'm worried about WP:COI issues, especially WP:SELFPROMOTE almost-instinct 08:06, 5 April 2012 (UTC)

• I completely concur with the above; there is nothing remotely noteworthy about Mills' music receiving regular airplay on this fellow's radio show, any more than there is (say) about Bill Haley's or Little Richard's music getting regular airplay on the At The Hop show from 2-5 AM a couple nights a week on my local 1600 watt FM station.

  I urge Oldrecordswithrufl to review the links at WP:PILLAR so that he can gain a greater understanding of the criteria we use to determine which facts are notable or not. Ravenswing 04:23, 8 April 2012 (UTC)

Dodgy dates

It seems unlikely that Mrs Mills’ husband was 29 years younger than her and died on the same day as her..... Mccapra (talk) 20:18, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
