Talk:Mr. X (2015 film)

Latest comment: 7 years ago by Krishna Chaitanya Velaga in topic Requested move 2 September 2016

@CosmicEmreror: I do not found http://www.darkmoon.in/mrx-review as an individual blog. Please do not keep removing my edit again and again. As per the advise of @GrankOz: I have reduced the lines. As per your instruction I have read the link you have send regarding https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:BLOGS. The page I have quoted is not an individual blog, I am following this page from last one year, this is the only page devoted to horror content in India. The writer who has done the review has written several article on the genre of horror. I request you to please not remove my edit till the things are under discussion. in India where 90% wikipedia pages under the category of Horror are stub, please be lenient regarding the policies. Only because you are following it from one year, doesn't make the source reliable. And I don't think it's a coincidence that after my comment about Wiki Blog , the address changed by itself .C E (talk) 13:22, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Dear @CosmicEmperor: It is no co-incident that the address changes because I have written to the Dark Moon Media with the question of owner of the page and about the difference in the address at the webpage and Facebook page. The company gives me that link clarifying that they operate it as on official page of the brand and they own the address darkmoon.in. The website is not operated by any individual blogger. Would like to know how you find the source unreliable as I am not able to get the answer from WP:BLOG. Your continuos reverts doesn't seems to be at par with WP:5 (Policies are not carved in stone,Their principles and spirit matter more than their literal wording). I also request you to please mention me in your reply so that I can get an intimation. Thanks and Regards Aniltheultimate (talk) 14:02, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you are editing only one or two pages, you must be following it, so i don't want to ping you. Your account is new but you are behaving like an experienced editor. You should mention only those sources which are reliable according to Wikipedia , not reliable because you think its reliable. And you know very well that even if you mention it as not a blog. But clicking it becomes blog.darkmoon.in when the link opens up completely.C E (talk) 14:16, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

@CosmicEmperor: thanks for the compliment that I am behaving like an experienced editor (in fact I am new ,only two days old, god promise.). I am telling all these things because I have read all the links you have send to me with your welcome message. Again I would like to request you please consider the WP:BIASED, WP:QUESTIONABLE and WP:USERG and this citation doesn't come under either of them.So i think we can use this. You are write to mention that the page finally opens to a blog.darkmoon.in but still it doesn't make the site an individual bloggers site and we can use it as it gives us a good information regarding the film. The review has a very good line "started as Sci Fi and switches to Revenge film". Thanks and Regards Aniltheultimate (talk) 16:11, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

@Aniltheultimate: I accepted your Ramsay Brothers edit , as an old editor who is senior than me also, proved that motherlandmagazine was reliable. But here----it's still a different case. Movie reviews can't be quoted through blogs.Unfortunately the website starts as blog.darkmoon.in . You can check the reception section of WP:GOOD as Sivaji (film) , Aashiqui 2 and WP:FA , Lage Raho Munna Bhai and Kahaani. Then you will know why you can't add that reference here.C E (talk) 16:24, 25 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Mr. X (film)Mr. X (2015 film) – Additional disambiguation is needed because there are Mr. X (1987 film) and Mister X (1967 film) as well. Mr. X (film) can then redirect to Mister X as an {{R from incomplete disambiguation}}. GeoffreyT2000 (talk) 03:59, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

Sounds reasonable. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 04:29, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
