The result of the move request was: Move the album as proposed. Consensus is against moving the EP. Cúchullain t/c 13:39, 19 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

– There are two other albums titled Moving Mountains on the disambiguation page; also, isn't an EP basically a kind of album? bd2412 T 21:42, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • Support first per nom as a partial dab. Oppose second as unnecessary though I'd be more concerned about an apparent lack of notability. PC78 (talk) 22:24, 8 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • @BD2412: why not just do the first, this is simple housekeeping covered by WP:MOVE. In ictu oculi (talk) 08:54, 9 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support per nomination. The qualifiers "(Moving Mountains album)" and "(Moving Mountains EP)" analogously complement each other, thus using one, but not the other, unbalances disambiguation forms as listed upon the Moving Mountains dab page. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 08:41, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
    • I think the distinction between album and EP is sufficient; if not, then I don't see how the proposed titles work. You would need to go further and disambiguate by year. PC78 (talk) 11:35, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
If the Moving Mountains disambiguation page listed only a single entry per each qualifier — Moving Mountains (album), Moving Mountains (band), Moving Mountains (book), Moving Mountains (EP) and "Moving Mountains" (song) — then each brief qualifier would be sufficient. However, when three albums are listed — Moving Mountains (The Casket Lottery album), Moving Mountains (Justin Hayward album) and Moving Mountains (Moving Mountains album) — the bare listing for Moving Mountains (EP) has a non-analogous appearance, with the missing element particularly noticeable because the band for the EP is already indicated in a qualifier for one of the albums.
Under this argument, a case can indeed be made for further disambiguation by year — Moving Mountains (2006 EP) and "Moving Mountains" (2013 album), but the consensus for such a distinction is less likely or unlikely. In fact, consensus is uncertain even for this proposed distinction between Moving Mountains (album)/Moving Mountains (Moving Mountains album) and Moving Mountains (EP). —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 20:49, 11 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
Not sure I follow your logic. There is only one EP listed on the dab page just as there is only one song. If we consider "album" and "EP" to be distinct then the second move is unnecessary because the page title is not ambiguous with any other. On the other hand, if we don't regard "album" and "EP" as being sufficiently distinct then the proposed titles are no good because they are ambiguous with each other. You seem to be arguing for a third position but I just don't see it. PC78 (talk) 00:44, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support first because there are 3 albums with no primary topic. Oppose second per WP:PRECISE and WP:CONCISE because there is only one EP. Station1 (talk) 18:52, 16 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
  • Support First as a clear PDAB, oppose 2nd since I don't see consensus or precedent for treatment of albums as EPs. Crouch, Swale (talk) 19:58, 16 March 2019 (UTC)Reply
