zabolai grof is a title, "earl of Zabola". Please provide evidence that this Mihály was a 'zabolai grof'. The preferred way to do explanation in the page Mikes family, whcih also does not explain the 'de Zabola' part. Staszek Lem (talk) 18:02, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

See what? I see it is someone personal webpage, without references. Staszek Lem (talk) 18:13, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

The Magyar Életrajzi Lexikon does not say 'zabolai'.

In any case, the correct rendering of the name inn Englisg would probably be "Mihály Mikes, count of Zabola", see, eg Edward Plunkett, 4th Baron of Dunsany. Staszek Lem (talk) 18:13, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Not, this is the correct English form of Hungarian noble titles, see: Miklós Horthy de Nagybánya, Count Lajos Batthyány de Németújvár or Baron Dezső Bánffy de Losoncz etc. The articles of Hungarian Biographical Lexicon do not include the noble names (zabolai, in English: "de Zabola".) --Norden1990 (talk) 18:19, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
OK then. Still, you don't have to convince personally me. You have to add references into the article. By the way, you forgot to address my doubts that the personal genealogy page you mentioned is a good reference for wikipedia. Staszek Lem (talk) 18:27, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
The best way is Mikes family article must explain that "de Zabola" is hereditary, rather than personal, title. Staszek Lem (talk) 18:29, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
In Hungary, there were no personal noble titles (Count or Baron), except the titles of prince, but those were Holy-Roman then Austrian imperial titles (Prince Esterházy or Batthyány-Strattman). Anyway, I don't want to convince you. For example, I will not give any sources that the battle of Mohács was fought in 1526 or the capital of Hungary is Budapest. --Norden1990 (talk) 18:35, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
If article battle of Mohács does not contain sources that it was fought in 1526, you don't have to give them to me. Instead, please add them to the article. Likewise, please respectfully add any sources to any statements requested by other readers. Staszek Lem (talk) 18:58, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
