Please explain 'arkies'

"Noel said on an interview with Jonathan Ross that the abstract name of the show came from one of Michael's arkies." What does 'arkies' mean? Alpheus 06:22, 18 October 2007 (UTC)

The reference was to Michael's hair, not Noel's. It was described by a Portuguese friend as being like "a mighty bush", which in the accent becomes "mighty boosh"--83.216.69.33 (talk) 01:40, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Birth Name

Does anyone know Michael Fielding's birth name? He is presumably not a blood relation to his supposed brother Noel Fielding as he is from a different (Asian) racial background. Is he adopted, has a different mother or is the brother story made up?

Birth records show that Noel Fielding's mother's maiden name is Fagan.

A birth search for people with the surname Fielding and mother's maiden name Fagan only bring up 2 results (the other being a Steve Fielding born in 1970 in Burton Upon Trent). There are no records of a Michael Fielding born in London in 1982.

There is a Michael Fielding born in Sutton, Surrey that year with a mother's maiden name of Whol (which sounds Asian)

Hi, he's not from an asian background, tgey are full blood brothers, michael was norn with FAS which is why he is small and has different features.
