Spouse
editMain text says: "In 1984, White began dating Gary Nixon.". However, the sidebar box lists spouse as Gary Nixon (1982 - present)
So, there seems to be a 1984/1982 conflict there. 72.55.198.215 (talk) 01:19, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
Untitled
editI removed "At public protests and such, White often appears in a clerical collar similar to that worn by Methodist, Lutheran and Episcopal clergy, most probabaly to give himself more credibility." because it seems to be an unfair knock at his credibility. Because of his history as a clergyman, he has every right to don the collar. --Ephilei 19:18, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
Ex-ex-gay
editI removed the ex-ex-gay category because although Mel White documents that he underwent a great deal of ex-gay therapy (over thirty years!) in a desperate attempt to be heterosexual, it doesn't appear at any particular time that he actually identified as ex-gay. For instance, from his book "Stranger at the Gate":
- I spent more than one-quarter of a century trying desperately to be an "ex-gay" myself. (pg 271) Italics added for emphasis. Queerudite 03:01, 26 October 2007 (UTC)
POV?
editI am not sure why this article has been marked POV, and left a note on the talk page of the user who marked it (216.194.56.249, but have not heard a response. This IP was only active for one day. Queerudite (talk) 16:01, 13 January 2008 (UTC)
- The POV box has been up four weeks, I left a comment on the user who added it three weeks ago, and it's been two weeks since I added the above comment. Having not heard any response as to why this article is POV, I am going to remove the tag. Queerudite (talk) 00:19, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
unsubstantiated claims to ghostwriting credits
editHow long can unsupported statements (having no citations) remain in an article, before they can be removed as unsubstantiated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kathon (talk • contribs) 14:35, 16 July 2013 (UTC)
- Now they're substantiated. It took almost no time. Pity you didn't try. -- Pemilligan (talk) 03:04, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Who says I didn't try? Who says I should? It wasn't my assertion. Kathon (talk) 17:45, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
