National Public Radio's weekly program, "The TakeAway" included Matthew Kaminski in the series, "Ballpark Figures: The Unsung Heroes of Baseball" in April 2015. I have added a citation to this program under the section, "Baseball Organist."Kmccook (talk) 12:32, 10 April 2020 (UTC)
Matthew Kaminski has been the Atlanta Braves organist for 11 years. Before that they used recordings. He has developed a body of work that is used by many baseball teams that can no longer afford an organist. He is one of a handful of baseball organists in the US today. Most baseball venues use taped music. Although he is based in Metro Atlanta he travels to two SEC universities with highly ranked baseball programs and is well known to millions of people who hear him when games are broadcast.Reply
I think with major media mentions by BBC, NPR and sports Illustrated plus some pretty consistent local coverage in the Atlanta Journal-Constiution, this qualifies for "multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself." and/or "Has become one of the most prominent representatives of a notable style or the most prominent of the local scene of a city;" The world of baseball organists is small and him and Josh Kantor are two of the only ones anyone has ever heard of.
