On-base Percentage

edit

I fixed the on-base percentage in the article. It previously said that "He continued his success in the majors, hitting .321 with two stolen bases, seven home runs, and an on-base-percentage in 51 games in 2005". I guess the person who created the article forgot to type in the statistic.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.232.180.146 (talkcontribs) 08:18, 2 May 2006

Nickname

edit

I'm glad we were able to come to some sort of consensus on the nicknames. The bit with the list of twenty nicknames or so was a little ridiculous.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Thedarkpenguin (talkcontribs) 03:22, 17 November 2006

I added a link to this very funny fan blog a couple weeks ago. Please leave it up. I got an e-mail from one of the writers thanking me.

But what does it add to the encyclopedic value of the article? -Phoenixrod 11:04, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply
Well, it's relevant because it's a fan site with information about Matt Murton. I thought it was kind of obvious.

Who is Jacob Fahey?

edit

First off, he didn't come up with the nickname Thunder Matt, I did. Secondly, whoever came up with the other nicknames probably isn't of the utmost concern anyway, at least not from the standpoint of mentioning it in the article.

Also since when is the consensus nickname "El Rojo"?--Ironsij0287 18:37, 30 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hanshin Tigers

Think that 5 years in Japan is worth some mention in the opening paragraph.GeeBee60 (talk) 14:11, 12 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
