Seeking additional information

edit

After completing the initial biography on Mr. Smalley, I am left with these unanswered questions.

  1. What city was he born in and where did he pass away?
  2. If it's not embarrassing, the actual cause of death would be better to include than "passed away unexpectedly".
  3. What was the actual degree that he received at Pepperdine? Sports medicine sounds possibly like a post-graduate degree, yet there was no indication of any prior degrees earned. Were there? What dates did he attend each institution?
  4. Speaking of dates, what were the approximate dates that he lived in PA, MA, NY, CA, and then back to PA?
  5. If it's not embarrassing, what agency or agencies did he model for, and who used his photos?
  6. No mention is made of marriages, partnerships, children, or other similar relationships. If there were any, perhaps they are worth noting in the article.
  7. Are there any quotations (his or from others about him) or endorsements that can be added to the article?
  8. Perhaps most importantly, are there any photos of Mr. Smalley available that can be freely licensed (e.g., licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License) and uploaded to Wikimedia Commons for use in this article? Alternately, some photos of his work could be added under the same license. Best of all would be some of each so that we can get a feel for the man and for his work.

Anyone adding such information should be aware of a few key Wikipedia guidelines and policies. First, added information must be verifiable and be cited to reliable sources. Reliable sources in this case would be newspaper or magazine articles; books; a listing, profile, or article in a professional directory or journal; a personal blog or diary of Mr. Smalley's, etc. Any family members, close friends, publishes, or co-workers should also be aware of Wikipedia's conflict of interest and neutral point of view guidelines. In a nutshell, it's hard for someone close to the subject of an article to be objective, but it is important for the integrity of the encyclopedia that your edits don't slant or bias the article in a positive or negative manner—the article needs to remain neutral and verifiable. Thank you to anyone who is able to help improve and enhance this article. —Willscrlt “Talk” ) 07:54, 26 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
