Luis Firpo was a boxer of enormous transcendence in Latin America.  : Simple English please. Shouldn't there be a comma somewhere. "enormous transcendence in Latin America" sounds strange. Tintin (talk) 13:53, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

"Luis Angel Firpo" ought to redirect to this page, rather than the Salvadoran football club. In fact, the title of this article really ought to be Luis Angel Firpo (as it is in the Spanish Wikipedia), as he was known by this name, and hardly ever called simply Luis Firpo. Pro Wrestler Using His Name?

edit

I remember a pro wrestler from the 1970s who billed himself as Pompero Firpo, "The Wild Bull of the Pampas." Anyone have any info on this guy? Should he be mentioned in the article if someone can track something down on him? 05:02, 11 December 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.104.48.240 (talk)
