editIs there a technical term for the principle of law that is why there was a supression order? Because I'm trying to read up on that a little more, and was hoping there would be a link to it from here. Mathmo Talk 00:33, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
An odd addition to the article needs to be removed or elaborated on a lot more
editThe following that I am about to quote is put in without any context other than the source and as is is kind of insulting to a living person and either needs to be deleted or to have a lot more context added in my opinion. I am talking about the following. "Additional accusations by Nicholas
During one of the rape trials, the court heard that Nicholas had said to a school teacher that she had been raped by "Maori on horseback".[8]
I don't think the fact that she once supposedly according to a teacher made an odd comment when she was 16 years old should be included in this way. I think it needs to be rethought and either be removed or a lot more context added. House Tules (talk) 08:22, 10 June 2020 (UTC)House Tules
Opening sentence
editThere was some degree of discussion between me and a user from an IP regarding the opening sentence. We eventually came to the current version [1] as combination of both our suggestions that were made here. Am linking to it for ease of future reference for other editors. Bias towards Nicholas
editThis article seems unfair. Nicholas has made various other allegations of rape, all of which have been unsubstantiated (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/news/article.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10372891). Most of thie article seems to be anti-police and talks about Ricards co-defendants being in jail for a rape completly unrelated to Nicholas. I understand that it may deserve a mention - but I think the procecutions case is over representated in this article. I might add a few bits and pieces into the article (with citations) but I wont make wholesale changes, I'll see what everyone else thinks first. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.98.159.23 (talk) 03:03, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
That was me - just created an account, yay! I also thin kthe title should change. This is all about the Louise Nicholas rape case, not her life. Can I suggest "Louise Nicholas rape allegations"? Kiwi in nz (talk) 03:11, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
