About Lon Pennock and his work
Lon Pennock (1945) is met ruim zestig beelden in het straatbeeld en het landschap een van de meest geziene beeldhouwers in Nederland. Een uitvoerig gïllustreerd overzicht van het oeuvre van Lon Pennock van 1968 tot 2003. Met essays van de voormalig directeur van het Van Abbe museum te Eindhoven, Jean Leering, en van Jetteke Bolten, directeur van de Lakenhal te Leiden. Voorwoord door Kees Rijnbout, voormalig Rijksbouwmeester en architect, en nawoord van Richard Ouwerkerk, directeur van de Academie voor Beeldende Kunst te Rotterdam.

Comment : Apparently Richard Ouwerkerk was (one of) the successor(s) as director of the Willem de Kooning Academy. According to his Linkedin profile he was dean and executive director of the Willem de Kooning Academy Rotterdam from 1998 to 2011.
