The result of the move request was: Not moved. The spaced hyphen vs. unspaced en-dash is uncontroversial and can be fixed by simply moving the article. (closed by non-admin page mover) Sam Sailor 08:22, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

The name of the destination station has been changed from those of the older ones. The changes are made in the official indian railways website. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sai199610 (talkcontribs) 2019-06-13T07:22:00 (UTC)

There is no participation. Then I think this is an uncontroversial move. Ping User: Matthew hk.Sai199610 (talk) 14:43, 16 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

When you posted in Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests, then you should wait for admin to move it. It is controversial when someone (me) had pointed out reason to hold. So it is not an uncontroversial move but very bold move which qualified to revert to original title. Matthew hk (talk) 06:42, 17 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Do you have a valid reason to oppose the move. I have provides resources. Now if you want to oppose provide relevant resources telling why you are opposing.Sai199610 (talk) 17:04, 17 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Secondary source for WP:COMMONNAME and WP:RELIABLESOURCE. gov.in is a government website that is primary source. It would be easily solved by listing newspaper source, that we can assume it would be the most recognizable name under WP:CRITERIA. Matthew hk (talk) 06:29, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

I do understand that but other than the government website I have also provided two other non-government website. I would like to tell you that names of trains are not very often seen on Newspapers. So we need to wait for the participation of other users.Sai199610 (talk) 08:04, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

The common name of this train is purely based on its source and destination stations. I have no issue with Lokmanya Tilak Terminus. But the common name of Chennai Central as per the newspaper article that I am providing proves it to be "MGR Chennai Central".

If you have to oppose provide a more reliable and relevant source.Sai199610 (talk) 10:12, 18 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

Oppose – A spaced hyphen has no sensible role is wikipedia, where we have MOS:DASH. Separation of source and destination by an unspaced en dash would be appropriate. No opinion on the rest of the issue since I haven't dug into it. Whatever move you suggest should fix this error. Dicklyon (talk) 05:59, 4 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
