Ship prefix edit

Is obv divided by class (F frigate, NAe aircraft carrier, etc.) but where's a list of them all?

Also, is there a NATO designation for the entire fleet? -LlywelynII (talk) 17:48, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Para (D27) AKA USS Guest edit

According to this page, the USS Guest became the Para (D27) and it is a Fletcher class Destroyer. However, this page lists Para as a Garcia class frigate (even though those were made well after Brazil acquired the USS Guest).

I think it's a mistake? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.72.87.146 (talk) 18:52, 2 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

There were two ships that served as D Pará (D27): The ex-USS Guest (1959-1978) and the ex-USS Albert David (1989-2008). —BegbertBiggs (talk) - de 21:43, 27 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Needed updates edit

two updates needed. It implies by layout that the Newport class Mattoso Maia is a replenishment ship- first it is not- but amphibious, a LST. Secondly, I go to that ship's page and it was decommissioned a few months ago (later 20223). Wfoj3 (talk) 17:15, 13 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
