Third Semester: OVA vs third season

There has been a lot of recent editing on this topic, much of which appears to be in the form of selective editing to reinforce a particular belief regarding the status of the two episodes in question. Such editing is not especially productive. As per WP:DR might I suggest that you both discuss the matter, in an attempt to correctly list the episodes. I believe Volume 21 limited edition of School Rumble manga came with the first OVA episode, and Volume 22 limited edition came with the second OVA episode.(Source: ANN) Gyunyu55 (talk) 10:54, 14 June 2009 (UTC)

?? Any news or review article is a reliable source on ANN. Whether or not its useful for the article is based on its content, ie if its repeating something already mentioned or talking about unrelated stuff like, FE, some of them talking about School Rumble's showing time being changed at a convention.陣内_Jinnai 20:26, 15 June 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) You can watch them and see if they are the same. You can't cite them, but if they don't differ from the original then using secondary sources is fine. As for how to classify them, that is based upon what others call them...which is where it gets confusing because they call them OVAs and third season episodes at the same time, though a 3rd season doesn't exist except for those episodes.陣内_Jinnai 11:23, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

"edit" ok after watching most of the sub version on youtube. I have seen that it is as I thought it was a rare conflicting OVA that follows the main plot line and is listed as an extra class. so labeling it as some sort of OVA it should be under extra class, seeing as how that is what their OVAs are labeled as =^-^=;;; --"I am an oktau and a baka at times but deny proven facts and you got a fight" comment added by Dragonmaster88 (talk • contribs) 16:18, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Extra class is a seperate OVA which, as you say, does follow the main plot of season 1 but with different scenes. The season 3 episodes are different.陣内_Jinnai 19:41, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

Well Extra class is listed by US retailers and reviewers as an OVA. The problem is with the 2 episodes/OVAs released in the Japanese volumes of 21 and 22.陣内_Jinnai 23:53, 16 June 2009 (UTC)

There's also a 12 minute item labeled "Episode 27: EriXHarima Original Anime Story", consisting of some short bits, and a couple of Music Videos. It may be a fan production, though. CFLeon (talk) 08:45, 5 December 2011 (UTC)
