Can someone also add Sacramento Street being named after Sacramento, capital of California? General I80 (talk) 06:10, 4 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Harkness Ave. edit

Any idea whether Harkness Ave. in Visitacion Valley is named for H. W. Harkness? I'm not sure where I could find a source for this. Peter G Werner (talk) 20:49, 6 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Bush Street edit

In addition to the Obama street renaming, there was a puppet street renaming for the Bush inauguration (video). — Preceding unsigned comment added by PaulSchreiber (talkcontribs) 23:37, 25 November 2012 (UTC)Reply

Webb Street edit

Webb Street predates Stephen Palfrey Webb's 1853 arrival in San Francisco and could not possibly have been named after him. You can find references to Webb Street in 1850 editions of the Daily Alta California, and here's an ordinance for the paving and grading of Webb Street in 1850.

There is a Webb Place which starts to crop up in maps and newspaper articles by 1900, and perhaps that is what is being referenced? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sleepcarprotein (talkcontribs) 21:42, 23 August 2016 (UTC)Reply
