I added 'flight for political asylum' as a reason, because several of these instances involved aircraft hyjacking. BruceHallman 19:46, 20 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Returning via Canada

edit

This article lists several hijackers as returning via Canada on November 1, 1969. Presumably this was as a result of Cuban policy or a US/Cuba agreement. Can anyone provide any details? Fanx (talk) 19:06, 4 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Rationales?

edit

These stories don't make sense. There are no clues to the motives of the hijackers. I checked into the story of Meeks, 1970. It is very informative. It adds mental illness to the motives.

I think a good way of explaing the different motives of the hijackings would be expanding on a few more of them. I am expanding Meeks now, but I think a few more of these stories could need expanding, to get a better overview picture.

One big question that I dont understand: all these hijacking to Cuba, why dont these guys just buy a ticket to get to Cuba? The answer may be obvious, but only to someone who knows it, right?--gnirre (talk) 19:36, 2 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Delta 821

edit

Delta flight 821, a DC-8 from Dallas to San Diego, hijacked to Cuba 26 March, 1969 is missing from the list.

How do I know? ... I was on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.0.135.81 (talk) 16:53, 12 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

George Lopez??? Wtf?

edit

I think that George Lopez (Celeb) did not hyjack a DC-8. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trevorc2004 (talkcontribs) 00:13, 10 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
