POV edit

Is it just me or is this article largely POV --58.165.233.179 10:05, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, WAY too much POV. This article needs some trimming. RaNdOm26 10:30, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
I just stumbled upon this article - Top 6 finalist of WHAT?! Excuse my ignorance. And yes, NPoV is definitely way down the list of attributes. ;) Bubba hotep 10:33, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
And, furthermore, most of it has been copied from here which is in turn from the Australian Pop Idol site. Ah, Top 6 of Australian Idol - penny dropped. Bubba hotep 10:49, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Somehow, maybe through lack of anything else to do, I've managed to contribute in a positive manner to this article! How did that happen? ;) Bubba hotep 12:16, 23 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

External links edit

The two forum links seem a bit much, especially as per this guide on external links to be avoided. I realise that guide also mentions avoiding MySpace pages but I think this is an acceptable exception to that rule (as her MySpace provides music, pictures and information that wouldn't be appropriate within the wpedia article). Thoughts? -Lemike 09:34, 1 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

People are editing the 'External links' section of this article without consulting this discussion. Fair enough, but am I the only one who believes if any links need to be removed it's the barely active forums? I sincerely believe the MySpace page should stay as it is the closest thing Lisa has to an official website and as stated above contains media that would not be appropriate on wpeda. Discuss. Studio Album edit

The upcoming studio album is listed as "Wonder" this is a change from "The Attic Space" from a quick search this seems unverified so should probably be referenced. There doesn't seem to be much concrete info on the web about any forthcoming album at all. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.45.83.225 (talk) 20:29, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I also think this needs looking at, the names are confusing and all linked wrong, im going to look into it now - holeshot07 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.148.65.67 (talk) 01:53, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for Image:LisaMitchell 012.jpg edit

Image:LisaMitchell 012.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Aria's edit

Lisa's been nominated for 3 awards at the upcoming arias. That should be added into the article right?Riphal (talk) 22:24, 11 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Singles edit

Not sure about the refrences for her singles: there's nothing to support the claim that "See You When You Get Here [sic, There]" was a single... same with some of the others. Teachingwedge (talk) 01:48, 17 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
