Evidence for title?
editIs there any evidence this film was released under the English title "Life of a Woman"? JoshuSasori (talk) 13:34, 2 June 2012 (UTC)

Plot section
editI've written the plot section on grounds of the 70 minutes version of the film which I've seen, which is also held in the National Film Archive of Japan. According to Kinema Junpo and the Japanese Movie Database, a version running over 2 hours also exists, or once existed. I've added one detail from the synopsis which can be found at Kinema Junpo (Fujiko taking in her grandchild), which was not in the version that I've seen (this one ended with her son Taro's disappearance after raping the maid), but was probably included in the longer version.
