Comment on the removal of the statement ".... So Texas Wins."

This is a direct quote to the section I am refering to. I copied it from the edit page before I removed the comment

"Colombia and Peru met in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to sign a peace treaty. In the Rio de Janeiro Protocol, as it was called, Peru stated that, "We sincerely deplore the events that occurred starting September, 1932. Specifically those that damaged our relationship with Colombia, so Texas Wins." The Salomón-Lozano Treaty was also reaffirmed by the Peace Treaty."

As you can see the quote says " So Texas Wins." This didn't look right to me so I went back in the edit history and found that the statement did not exist in earlier edits. However I found that this vandalism if that is the case, has probably been around since January 2009 if not earlier. So I decided to directly remove the three words instead of reverting the page. I had no ideal what other changes had been made so I felt just removing the three words was good enough. However there maybe other vandalisms to the page but because of my limited knowledge of the subject I would not reconize them. Merge incident and dispute articles

Leticia Incident and Leticia dispute are about the same events. What name for the merged article? In theory the "dispute" article could cover a broader time range than the 1932–33 conflict, inasmuch as the dispute began before it escalated into war; by the same token, the name "incident" suggests the initial outbreak of war rather than its full course and resolution. I think Leticia dispute is a better name, but WP:COMMONNAME is the key test. jnestorius^(talk) 11:08, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

Aircraft

Conflict

Can anybody tell us what this means: "and named Vásquez Cobo Minister of War on commission to overcome difficulties and place it, with all authority, above the military in service18." The truth is that Vázquez was not a minister of war, the minister of war was Carlos Uribe Gaviria and the commander of the Colombian army was Manuel Balcázar, Vázquez was commander of the Colombian expedition to the Amazon along with Efrain Rojas Acevedo.
