Is Leena Peisa 'Awa' or was she the extra singer in the Kiss makeup? Djarra 22:25, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

That extra singer in kiss makeup was not a woman, but a guy called Pasi Rantanen. He´s from a finnish band called thunderstone. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.251.240.113 (talk) 17:07, 28 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Leena Peisa is Awa — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.94.235.199 (talk) 20:25, 19 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Here is an article about her in Esperanto with a picture sans-makeup. According to the article, despite her being a backup signer in an Esperanto band, she isn't an active esperantist. However, she may have picked up a little Esperanto while singing backup in Dolchamar. --Yekrats 17:33, 12 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Finnish Christians?

edit

It is interesting to note that Leena comes under the "Finnish Christians" category. Where do we know she is an actual Christian? Is she a strong one ("Jesus saved me!") or a "de facto" one ("I go church every sunday")? -- Nazzzz (talkcontribs) 15:40, 15 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

That's a good question. Leena's former band Punaiset messiaat was an atheist band, and both Lordi and Punaiset messiaat have been accused of being Satan's worshippers. Leena apparently told a Finnish newspaper she was shocked to hear that (the roof of) the Porvoo Cathedral had been burned but so were many people because the cathedral is an integral part of the Old Porvoo milieu. I suggest it be deleted unless someone provides further information. Piechjo (talk) 16:23, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
Deleted. She's also categorized as a vegetarian. As far as I know she eats chicken but avoids red meat. Whether or not that counts as a veggie, she's not an activist or particularly known to be a vegetarian. I suggest it to be deleted as well. Piechjo (talk) 09:50, 5 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I agree with you, it should be deleted unless any source.--Nazzzz (talk) 14:24, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

She does backing vocals in every band she played with; Punaiset Messiaat (or whatever), Dolchamar, Lordi... The infoboxes of musicians who use their vocals (backing or lead it doesn't matter) are colored with yellow. I want to see other people who will agree or not wih me. If no one reply, I am gonna change it.--Nazzzz (talk) 14:24, 7 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
