Did Adolf Hitler really have a radio show on LSR FM, wasn't he a failed art student in Austria —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.110.214.13 (talk) 22:20, 24 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

noncompliant edit

Please do not put editorial comments in the encyclopedia, or facts you "made up". This entry needs attention to make its point of view neutral and to remove the chatty style. Wikipedia is not free webhosting, it is an encyclopedia. You need to clean this article up to remove these problems, or it will likely be drastically cut back to what is appropriate: facts and history only. cmh 19:10, 15 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

The article is much improved, and while I still have some style concerns I think that the non-compliant tag can be removed. Regarding style, I think primarily the article would be improved if the shows were grouped as a list under a single heading. We don't need a heading just for an external link. Two lists, a shows list and a podcasts list are probably best. The article also suffers from a lack of copy editing... a close reading for capitalization and sentence structure are in order. cmh 16:15, 20 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Readded the catergories and corrected the spam noticeBarry Carlyon 13:10, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have once again removed the excessive categorisation for the following reasons:

  1. Category:Student radio in the United Kingdom is a sub-category of Radio stations in the United Kingdom
  2. Category:University of Leeds and Category:Leeds Metropolitan University are sub-categories of Leeds
  3. Category:Leeds student societies is a sub-category of British student societies

In addition, I have removed some programming and external links which appear to violate WP:EL, and text (podcast section) which was blatantly promotional; cleaned up what appears to be a laundry list of non-notable names (leaving the station manager, as being an acceptable list in these circumstances), and made the recruitment process section "more generic" so that it does not need to be changed each year : the membership may change but the composition is likely to be stable for at least a few years. Please amend the composition if the assumptions made are incorrect. Ohconfucius 02:20, 7 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

It appears that Barry Carlyon has come along and put back all the stuff which I do not feel belongs in an encylopaedic article, including many of the points mentioned above. For example, WTF outside the micro-world of the station cares if a guy's nickname is "the Legend" or "Steeno". I have removed all but one external link, and the categories are once again trimmed down to comply with WP:CAT. Ohconfucius 01:55, 23 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

I might have done some stuff by accident undoing a spam change, but I definately didn't do the nickname readding, so I apologize BarryCarlyon (talk) 09:04, 21 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Current Committee Roles and Previous Station Managers re-added, due to reasonable notability. I feel that this is notable as it provides a main point of contact. Historical station management is just as notable as the CEO of a small business Datipster (talk) 12:33, 25 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

  • Not sure if it's worth me bothering to reply but here's my 2¢
1. There's a logo added however photographs can only be used if they're under a certain licence ..... if they're not under that licence then we're screwed,
2/3. I'll get around to fixing and amending these
4. I'm not what part of MOS this article breaks? ....
Thanks. –Davey2010Talk 18:51, 17 July 2016 (UTC)Reply
