  • "Situated on the border with Scotland." On, or in close proximity to? (the dot on the map is quite some way away from the border)
Good point. This is quite an extensive parish, and the dot represents the hamlet after which the parish is named. The parish, rather than the hamlet, extends up to the Scottish border, and so can be said to be "on the border". This is surely appropriate, as the article discusses the whole parish, not merely the settlement after which it is named. Unfortunately, the maps used under the UK Infobox do not adequately represent the extent of civil parishes. Wording can be changed if you think it would help. Puzzled by this one. Kilham should not be wikilinked as it would produce a cyclical wikilink leading back to this article. Howtel already is wikilinked. Coldsmouth and Thompson's Walls and Pawston are redirects leading back to Kilham, Northumberland, and so should not really be wikilinked.
On an aside, I am surprised you have moved "Public services" to be a subsection of "Economy". Wikipedia:WikiProject UK geography/How to write about settlements suggests we should have a separate section. However, I think personally that if it is to move to a subsection, it would be better under "Governance". It doesn't really fit in with "Economy" somehow. May be a problem. Have searched Geograph and nothing available. The mill pond in the infobox is the nearest image to the village itself. There are one or two images of the farm buildings (and a nice one of converted workshops) on the web, but they are not free images, and so cannot be used.
